Appointment process<br />
A <strong>for</strong>mal letter is to be sent to the Chair of the Prevocational Training Council at <strong>HETI</strong> from the<br />
Executive of the hospital with specific input from the General Clinical Training Committee (GCTC)<br />
with a recommendation <strong>for</strong> a new DPET (including his or her curriculum vitae). The Prevocational<br />
Training Council reviews the hospital’s recommendation, advises the hospital of their consideration<br />
and sends a letter of welcome to the new DPET.<br />
