Enhancing the employability <strong>of</strong> our students<br />

How to apply<br />

You will also select one module from each <strong>of</strong> the<br />

following options:<br />

Climate Change and Sustainability – will aid<br />

your understanding <strong>of</strong> the different social,<br />

economic and environmental issues that modern<br />

businesses face and how internationally<br />

recognised frameworks and standards can be<br />

used to measure and report sustainable<br />

development. This module will use specific<br />

international case studies to illustrate how<br />

businesses are seeking to manage this area and<br />

maximise its value.<br />

Global E-Business – will develop your knowledge<br />

and understanding <strong>of</strong> the nature <strong>of</strong> e-business and<br />

e-commerce and how it differs from traditional<br />

business, as well as analysing key technologies<br />

and the Internet infrastructure.<br />

Leadership and Change – will introduce you to<br />

contemporary thinking about the processes <strong>of</strong><br />

change and the role <strong>of</strong> leadership in those<br />

processes. Specific attention will be paid to<br />

geographical and cultural variation in the ways in<br />

which leadership and change are conceptualised,<br />

analysed and practised.<br />

You will also select one module from each <strong>of</strong> the<br />

following options:<br />

Entrepreneurship and Small Business<br />

Management – will examine the significance <strong>of</strong><br />

entrepreneurship and the small businesses sector<br />

within developed and developing economies, and<br />

develop a research-led understanding <strong>of</strong> the<br />

factors that affect small business birth, growth,<br />

success and failure in an international context.<br />

International Brand Leadership – covering<br />

both theory and practice you will focus on<br />

understanding how organisations can invest in<br />

building a strong brand image and equity in<br />

international markets.<br />

Performance Management and Governance –<br />

will introduce you to the classical and<br />

contemporary performance management systems<br />

and frameworks from a multidisciplinary and<br />

interdisciplinary perspective. The module draws<br />

heavily on a range <strong>of</strong> international case studies.<br />

If you are a UK, EU or international student<br />

applying for direct entry to Year 1 <strong>of</strong> the BSc<br />

International Business Management you will need<br />

to apply online through UCAS (<strong>University</strong> and<br />

If you are currently studying one <strong>of</strong> the university<br />

preparation courses at the INTO Centres in <strong>London</strong><br />

or Norwich you will be assisted with your<br />

the BSc International Business<br />

Management at <strong>UEA</strong> <strong>London</strong> are<br />

able to put into practice many <strong>of</strong><br />

the skills they are acquiring as<br />

they learn. They do this by working<br />

in groups on diverse projects and<br />

tasks in the setting <strong>of</strong> <strong>London</strong>’s<br />
