Fundamentals
• Centrally located historical city centre
project in the Unesco listed town of
Bamberg.
• Creation of a district which optimally
enhances the city’s existing high quality
shopping and leisure time appeal.
• Because parking spaces are hard to
create the fact that the site is situated
next to the central bus station is an
extra important factor.
Program
• The concept is based on 11.000 m² of
new retail and gastronomy areas dived
over approximately 40 units.
• Quartier an der Stadtmauer will be
served by nearby parking facilities.
• Three – four anchor units will position
Quartier an der Stadtmauer as a true
destination with the Bamberg city
center retail fabric.
Concept
• Multi will create an old town quarter
which optimally enhances the city’s
existing high quality shopping and
leisure time appeal.
• The project in Bamberg will be
characterized by completely opendesigned,
small-sectioned and streetforming
concept.
• The concept contains three sales levels
whereby attractive city apartments will
be built on the upper floors.
• Units on the upper levels will be
internally connected.
• Realisation of Quartier an der
Stadtmaeur will enhance the pedestrian
connection between the bus station and
Lange Strasse, as well as providing a
new axis from the project via the C&A
to Gruner Markt.

• Leasing still to be initiated.
• Key anchors in segments of fashion
and durables
• By filling in missing retail segments and
brands, ‘Quartier an der Stadtmauer’
will strengthen the Bamberg inner city
retail area significantly
• In correspondence with the Bamberg
above average spending power per
capita, the market positioning of
‘Quartier an der Stadtmauer’ will be
middle to upper-middle.
