Kaufhof department store which is
situated at Almstrasse shopping street.
• Two connections linking Arneken Galerie
with Almstrasse will offer a routing
integrating the scheme with the existing
retail structure.

to the corner Schützenallee / Kardinaal-
Bertram-Strasse / Kaiserstrasse which
are important traffic axes in Hildesheim.
• Arneken Galerie will have a positive
impact on the retail supply in the
highstreet area by adding new brands

Access
• Direct pedestrian access from the city
centre. Two shopping passages will link
the core of Arneken Galerie to
Almsstrasse prime pitch.
• The Arneken Galerie site is located at
walking distance of the train station.
• Located in the heart of the city on the
innercity ring road system, Arneken
Galerie will have good car access from
the whole city.
• The site is very good accessible from all
directions via important city access roads
(Schützenallee / Kardinaal-Bertram-
Strasse / Kaiserstrasse).
• SVHi city bus lines 2 and 3 stop in front
of the project site, which connect most of
Hildesheims suburbs to the site.
• Regional roads B1, B6, B243, and B494
provide regional access from Kreis
Hildesheim surrounding region.
• Hildesheims location on the A7 Hanover-
Kassel motorway further facilitates
regional access. Exit 62 Hildesheim leads
directly from the A7 to the site via the
Berlinerstrasse.
Visibility
• Entries to Arneken Galerie from
Almsstrasse main shopping street will be
prominent and provide visibility from the
highstreet area.
• Being situated on one the main junctions
in the center, good visibility from innercity
ring Schützenallee / Kardinaal-Bertram-
