CODE OF ORDINANCES<br />
ARTICLE IV. PARKING AND STORING OF MOTOR VEHICLES<br />
Section 10-13. Parking and storing <strong>of</strong> vehicles on rights-<strong>of</strong>-way.<br />
No person, firm, or corporation shall park or store on any public right-<strong>of</strong>-way within the <strong>City</strong> any motor vehicles<br />
which are either not in operating condition or not in operating use for a period <strong>of</strong> more than seven (7) days.<br />
Section 10-14. Presumption.<br />
The failure to move such motor vehicle from any such location as provided in Section 1013 above, for a period <strong>of</strong><br />
more than seven (7) days, shall be presumed to be in violation <strong>of</strong> this Article.<br />
Section 10-15. Additional remedies.<br />
In the event <strong>of</strong> the violation <strong>of</strong> Section 10-13 above, the <strong>City</strong> may cause the said vehicle to be towed away and<br />
impounded and released only upon the payment <strong>of</strong> the towage charges and storage charges in the amount <strong>of</strong> one<br />
dollar ($1.00) for each twenty-four (24) hour period said vehicle is so impounded pursuant to this Article, in<br />
addition to any other penalty that may be imposed upon a violation <strong>of</strong> this Article.<br />
