Mae’r BTEC Lefel 3 mewn wedi ei gynllunio ac addasu ar gyfer y sector gwasanaethau cyhoeddus
i ddarparu’r wybodaeth, y ddealltwriaeth a’r sgiliau y mae eu hangen ar ddysgwyr i
lwyddo wrth iddynt symud tuag at yrfa neu addysg bellach yn y gwasanaethau gwisg unffurf,
er enghraifft yr Heddlu, y Gwasanaethau Tân Brys, y Gwasanaeth Carchardai a’r Gwasanaethau
Diogelwch neu Arfog.
Mae’r cwrs yn darparu’r cyfleoedd canlynol:
• Addysg a Hyfforddiant ar gyfer gweithwyr iechyd a gofal
• Ennill cymhwyster cenedlaethol adnabyddedig mewn pwnc galwedigaethol arbenigol.
• Cynnig i mynedi cyflogaeth yn y gwasanaethau cyhoeddus neu i symud ymlaen i
gymhwyster Uwch
• Datblygu ystod eang o sgiliau a thechnegau, sgiliau personol a rhinweddau angenrheidiol
ar gyfer perfformiad llwyddiannus yn y byd gwaith

Level 3 Public Services
The BTEC Nationals in Public Services have been developed in the Public Services sector to:
• give education and training for public services employees
• give opportunities for public services employees to achieve a nationally recognised
Level 3 vocationally specific qualification
• give full-time learners the opportunity to enter employment in the public services sector
or to progress to vocational qualifications such as the Edexcel BTEC Higher Nationals
in Public Services
• give learners the opportunity to develop a range of skills and techniques, personal
skills and attributes essential for successful performance in working life.
