27.04600 Math Support III 11 The purpose of the Math Support III class is to
address the needs of students who have traditionally
struggled in mathematics by providing the

successfully complete Mathematics III without

27.08200 Math II 10 Mathematics II is the second in a sequence of
mathematics courses designed to prepare students to
enter college at the calculus level. It includes
complex numbers; quadratic, piecewise, and
exponential functions; right triangles, right
triangular trigonometry, properties of circles, and
statistical inference.
27.08300 Math III 11 Mathematics III is the third in a sequence of
mathematics courses designed to prepare students to
enter college at the calculus level. It includes
exponential and logarithmic functions, matrices,
polynomial functions of higher degree, conic
sections, and normal distributions.
27.08400 Math IV 12 This is a fourth year mathematics course designed
to prepare students for calculus and similar college
mathematics courses. It requires students to:
investigate and use rational functions; analyze and
use trigonometric functions, their graphs, and their
inverses;
use trigonometric identities to solve problems and
verify equivalence statements; solve trigonometric
equations analytically and with technology; find
areas of triangles using trigonometric relationships;
