23.03200 Yearbook* 11-12 This course explores journalistic writing through analysis
of yearbooks and magazines. It concentrates on purpose,
influence, structure and language use through reading,
writing and critical thinking. It addresses news gathering,
interviewing, copy-writing, editing, and revising. The
class emphasizes photography, layout design, and desktop
publishing. Students apply skills in publication.
