Summary: Shinnoko Mimura, a low-ranking samurai, is the official court
food taster. His life takes a tragic turn when he is poisoned and loses
his eyesight. His wife, kayo, becomes the lover of Shimada, a higher
ranking official, in order to save Shinnoko's court position. Shinnoko
discovers that Shimada does not plan to help him. In order to gain
back his honour and the love of his life, he challenges Shimana to a
duel.

Summary: The year 2084, when humanity is decimated by a ruthless
