Disconnect IAC and connect test lamp.<br />

Turn ignition switch to IGNITION for 2 <strong>se</strong>conds,<br />

and then OFF for 10 <strong>se</strong>conds.<br />

Repair poor connection<br />

[78B], or repair open<br />

wire in harness.<br />

Clear codes using speedometer <strong>se</strong>lf <strong>diagnostic</strong>s.<br />

See 5.6 SPEEDOMETER SELF DIAGNOSTICS.<br />

Confirm proper operation with no <strong>check</strong> engine<br />

lamp.<br />

Locate and repair<br />

short to voltage.<br />
