National Badminton Team Challenge 2010 Lam Jick Sern
Seven teams took part in the inaugural Challenge held from 21 to 27 March at Arena Country Club, with Chinese Swimming Club
being one of the teams. Decked from top to bottom in Li-Ning gear, 15 CSC’s best players were sent to represent the Club. The
players showed their pedigree as they won all three group matches to advance to the semi-finals, which they won as well.
Faced with a host of Indonesians and Chinese players from Arena Country Club in the finals, our Club battled bravely and was
unfortunate to lose 3-1. Still, it was a commendable effort by the Club’s local-bred shuttlers!
