11th Youth Inter-<strong>Club</strong> Bowling Mixed League 2010 (6 March to 11 September) Kevin Tee<br />
The Youth Bowling Section has been growing rapidly since the <strong>Club</strong> won the Championships in 2008. With bowlers from as<br />
young as 12 years old, the <strong>Club</strong> has a wide range of capable bowlers to defend the Title this year. Under the guidance of Coach<br />
Rick Tan and Bowling Convenor Adrian Ng, we hope our youths will keep up their tremendous efforts and continue to bring<br />
glory to the <strong>Club</strong>. Do support our Youth Day Challenge on 3 July and cheer our youths to strike off the “PINS”!<br />
WATER POLO<br />
Singapore Water Polo Open League 2010 Kevin Tee<br />
A total of six teams participated in the Singapore Water Polo Open League 2010 (SWP), which was held at Toa Payoh <strong>Swimming</strong><br />
Complex from 20 February to 11 April 2010. It was a tremendous game among all the respective teams. CSC had once again<br />
displayed its sportsmanship by finishing off the game with high-flying spirits.<br />
SQUASH<br />
National Squash League 2010 Kevin Tee<br />
Organised by the Singapore Squash Rackets Association from 22 February to 14 May, the annual League attracted CSC Squash<br />
enthusiasts to take part in the three event categories – namely Men’s C, E and Veteran 1. Our players displayed great zest and<br />
sportsmanship while striving for glory eventually achieving the following encouraging results: Veteran 1 team: 5th Position &<br />
Men’s C team: 10th Position. Well done CSC Squash team!<br />
TAEKWONDO<br />
136th Supplementary Grading Jim Chee Xian<br />
The 136th Supplementary Grading was held at Jurong East Sports Hall on 4 April 2010 with a total of 20 CSC trainees. We are<br />
pleased to announce that all of the young trainees upheld our <strong>Club</strong>’s standard of excellence with a 100% passing rate.<br />
The family members of the trainees were invited to witness their proud moment of being presented with their new belts by<br />
Head Instructor Master Nordon Lim on 2 May 2010 at the <strong>Club</strong>’s Auditorium.<br />
