SCLG initiates Singapore business ties

Building Bridges: SCLG members having an interactive meeting with business delegation from Singapore
Supply Chain & Logistics Group (SCLG),
the region's first independent supply
chain and logistics organisation,
recently initiated business ties with
Singapore during a meeting held with
Standards, Productivity and Innovation
Board (SPRING), a Singapore
government enterprise development
agency.
The meeting was held under the
patronage of Dubai Chamber of
Commerce and Industry (DCCI),
represented by Atiq Juma Faraj Nassib,
Commercial Services Director, to
extend the chamber's support to the
SCLG's continuous initiatives for supply
chain and logistics professionals.
Commenting on the meeting, Mike
Lee, SCLG President said: “We are very
pleased to extend SCLG's operations to
a global level. With the full support
from DCCI we look forward to
strengthening our relationship with
Singapore's supply chain and logistics
operations for positive future
collaborations.”

demonstrates their leadership position
in the region and expertise in this
field," said Atiq Juma Faraj Nassib,
DCCI Commercial Services Director.

logistics hubs for both the Middle East
and South East Asia. With this in mind,
we are committed to cooperation
between SCLG and SPRING and look
forward together to raising the bar in
the industry,” Lee added.

Jinendra Sancheti, TNT
Sancheti
joins SCLG's
Advisory
Board
Jinendra Sancheti is the Regional Vice
President for India, Middle East and
Africa region, responsible for TNT
operations in 42 countries spanning
over the Indian subcontinent, Middle
East and Africa.
A Chartered Accountant and
Company Secretary by training, he
joined TNT in 1990 in Bahrain and has
held various positions in the company
in the Middle East, Africa and Asia
regions.
He has wide industry experience and
has been associated with a number of
associations and forums, including the
Express Industry Council and the Supply
Chain and Logistics Group. He is a
keen observer of the global trends and
logistics in the Express industries and
frequently participates in related
forums.
