S&S’s new 124" engine for Twin Cam 88 ® models brings
monster motor potential to 21st century Harley-Davidson ®
motorcycles. With a choice of S&S’s VFI proprietary fuel
injection system, or S&S’s Super G carburetor, there is a
bolt-up choice for most rides. Carbureted models include
S&S’s IST ignition system which uses knock sensing to
automatically optimize ignition timing under all riding
conditions.
Important note: requires the following to complete the
engine: oil pump, oil pressure switch, cam support plate,
cam cover, tappets, tappet covers, and oil filter brackets.

S&S Hot Set Up Kits for Twin Cam 88 ® Models
These kits make over 80 horsepower with over 85 ft. lbs. of torque in an
88-inch motor, when used in conjunction with high-flow mufflers and a
high-performance ignition module. They contain a carefully selected combination
of components which have been proven to work well together.
Intended for 88" and 95" engines with stock cylinder heads and valve
springs; cams “bolt-in” without amy machine work. Hot Set Up kits contain
S&S 510 series camshafts, a Super ‘E’ carburetor kit with air cleaner, intake
manifold and an S&S adjustable pushrod kit. Designed for maximum power
with stock compression, the camshafts have 238° intake, 252° exhaust duration,
with .510" valve lift and 40° overlap. The Super ‘E’ carburetor and air
filter give the motor crisper throttle response.

S&S Hot Set Up Kit for Twin Cam 88 ® Models
The next step up for the factory’s anemic 95-inch motor, this kit makes 89
horsepower and 95 ft lbs of torque, when used with high-flow mufflers
and a high performance ignition module. It features +.005" oversize 37/8"
bore “pop up” pistons, an S&S 570G gear drive camshaft set, S&S adjustable
pushrods, S&S valve springs and an S&S Super ‘E’ carburetor kit. The highlift
cams are designed for maximum power with the high compression
pistons; the camshafts have 240° intake, 255° exhaust duration, with .570"
valve lift and 40° overlap. The “pop-up” pistons increase the compression
ratio to 9.7:1 with stock cylinder heads.
Clearances must be checked when installing the valve springs on stock
cylinder heads and in some cases, machining of the valve guides may be
