Nav <strong>Function</strong>s:<br />
NAV <strong>Function</strong>s are only available with a GPS<br />
or plotter in the system.<br />
A properly aligned <strong>and</strong> compensated<br />
compass is required for good<br />
track intercepts with no overshoot.<br />
After selecting the "Gnd"-display with the<br />
middle button, you may use the right button to<br />
toggle between GND-Speed <strong>and</strong> GND-Course.<br />

Ground Speed<br />
Ground speed is<br />
shown in knots, as<br />
received from the<br />
GPS.<br />

Secondary <strong>Function</strong>s:<br />
After accessing the NAV <strong>Function</strong> at the secondary<br />
display level, you may use the right button<br />
to switch between programmed track "C", XTE,<br />
distance to waypoint <strong>and</strong> time to WP.<br />
With the autopilot installed (but not engaged),<br />
the upper half LED-pointer will give Flight Director<br />
steering comm<strong>and</strong>s for the helmsman, to<br />
precisely intercept <strong>and</strong> follow the programmed<br />
route.<br />
Programmed Track:<br />
Bearing to WP<br />
The programmed magnetic<br />
track (bearing to waypoint)<br />
is displayed on the<br />
LCD. Great circle or<br />
rhumb line, according<br />
to the GPS setup.<br />
The analog LEDpointer<br />
displays the<br />
SELECT target heading to intercept<br />
<strong>and</strong> follow the<br />
programmed route.<br />
