Treat all members fairly. In resolving conflicts, consider public safety and duties to principals, individuals, and the
profession in that order.

Give prudent advice; avoid raising unnecessary alarm or giving unwarranted comfort. Take care to be truthful,
objective, cautious, and within your competence.

When resolving differing laws in different jurisdictions, give preference to the laws of the jurisdiction in which you
render your service.

4. ANNUAL MAINTENANCE 年 間 資 格 認 定 維 持 要 件
4.1 Certification Requirements 認 定 要 件
To become certified, a candidate must successfully complete two separate processes: Examination and Certification. The
eligibility requirements to sit for an (ISC)² examination are completely separate from the eligibility requirements necessary to
be certified.
認 定 されるには、 受 験 者 は「 受 験 」と「 認 定 」という2つのプロセスを 完 了 しなければなりません。また、(ISC)² 認 定 試 験 を 受 験 するため
の 要 件 と、 認 定 されるための 要 件 は、 全 く 異 なります。
Security technology is constantly changing. Ensuring professional competence and currency with these changes is accomplished by
meeting the Continuing Professional Education hours required by the Board; No certificate holder should be certified by (ISC)² if he/she is
in violation of ethical standards required by the Board or otherwise not in good standing as a certificate holder; Payment of Annual
Maintenance Fees ensures that the organization has the necessary financial recourses to maintain the members’ records, ensures the
certification continues to meet the needs and requirements of the market, and the organization continues to be a viable entity into the
future.

持 するために 必 要 な 財 源 の 確 保 や、(ISC)²の 認 定 資 格 が 市 場 のニーズや 要 求 にこたえること、また、(ISC)²が 将 来 にわたって 発 展 可 能 な 団 体 であり 続 ける
ことは、 年 会 費 の 支 払 によって 担 保 されます。
