Book Festival to receive certificates. Some libraries had<br />
reading trees like this one from Clara, where children<br />
added a leaf with their name on it to the tree , to show<br />
they had taken up the reading challenge.<br />

During the Summer children in all libraries were<br />
encouraged to take up the Summer Reading Challenge.<br />
Participants were given a log book and the aim of reading 8<br />
books during the summer. A stamp was entered in the log<br />
book for every book read. Children with completed log<br />
