DECLG/IMF Quarterly <strong>Report</strong>ing<br />

2011 saw the full roll out of quarterly reporting to The<br />

DECLG/IMF. These consist of a quarterly Income and<br />

Expenditure <strong>Report</strong>, Capital Account report and Debtors<br />

report. In addition various reports are produced for<br />

stakeholders in <strong>Offaly</strong> <strong>County</strong> <strong>Council</strong> relating to all<br />

aspects of the councils activities.<br />

Motor Taxation Office<br />

This office issues vehicle and driving licences and<br />

processes other transactions such as change of<br />

ownership for pre-1993 vehicles, certificates of<br />

roadworthiness, vehicle registration certificates vehicle<br />

licensing arrears The Section also produces information<br />

for Gardai and other Local Authorities, e.g. penalty<br />

points, traffic fines, parking fines, etc. The Motor<br />

Taxation Office is open to the public from 9.30 a.m. to<br />

3.30 p.m., including lunchtime, Monday to Friday,<br />

excluding Bank Holidays. Payment can be made at the<br />

counter, electronically and through postal application.<br />

In 2011, this office generated €10.3m in revenue,<br />

handled 90,859 transactions (58% over the counter,<br />

10% via post and 32 % was processed online)<br />
