No matter how insignificant an on the job injury or accident may seem, notify the<br />
administration immediately.<br />
Life-Threatening Illnesses:<br />
We are committed to providing equal opportunity to all employees, including those who<br />
have a life-threatening illness. We are also committed to providing a safe work<br />
environment that meets or exceeds state and federal regulations. Consequently,<br />
employees who have a life-threatening illness will be treated like other employees as<br />
long as they meet performance standards and there is no evidence that indicates that<br />
their condition is a threat to themselves or others. We also believe all information<br />
regarding an employee with a life-threatening illness must remain private and<br />
confidential.<br />
Return to Work:<br />
If you are on a medical disability leave of absence, you must return to work when your<br />
physician’s determines that you are able to resume normal duties. We require your<br />
physician’s release before reinstatement to the active payroll. If you wish to extend<br />
your leave beyond this point, you must apply for a personal leave of absence.<br />
Standards of Conduct and Corrective Action<br />
Groups of people who are working together for any purpose requires certain guidelines<br />
pertaining to their conduct and relationships; therefore, our employees must be aware<br />
of their responsibilities to the school and co-workers. We strive to take a constructive<br />
approach to disciplinary matters to ensure that actions that would interfere with<br />
operations or an employee’s job are not continued. Violations of our standards will<br />
result in one of the following forms of corrective action:<br />
Oral Warning<br />
Written Warning<br />
Deduction of Pay<br />
Suspension without Pay<br />
Discharge<br />
In arriving at a decision for proper action, the following will be considered:<br />
