$3,000.00 and a total maximum of $ 9,000.00 in five years for teachers applying<br />
to earn a teaching license. There will be no reimbursement for textbooks cost or<br />
other related materials.<br />
• Teachers/staff are expected to schedule class attendance and the completion of<br />
the study assignment outside of their regular working hours and are expected to<br />
maintain satisfactory job performance.<br />
• The school reserves the right to amend, suspend or terminate this Plan at any<br />
time without a notice.<br />
• Teacher/staff must sign a contract with the school to work at least one year at<br />
<strong>Salam</strong> <strong>School</strong> after the completion of their course of study.<br />
IV. Course Approval Procedure:<br />
• Only courses that would lead to a degree or certification will be approved.<br />
• First submit your letter of acceptance from the accredited college or university<br />
to your immediate supervisor for approval.<br />
• To ensure the course/s qualifies for reimbursement, the completed form must<br />
be submitted in advance of the course start date to your immediate supervisor.<br />
• The school administration team will review your request and determine if the<br />
course/s meet/s the Plan guidelines.<br />
• The administration will evaluate the request for participation in the Plan using<br />
the following criteria:<br />
‣ The nature and purpose of the course study.<br />
‣ The benefits to be derived by the teacher/staff and the school.<br />
‣ The teacher’s/staff’s work performance and level of responsibility.<br />
‣ The estimated cost.<br />
‣ Any potential lost time or productivity while the teacher/staff participate<br />
in the program.<br />
