EXTERIOR AREA SERVICES<br />

In order to maintain a clean facility, services needed to be extended beyond the<br />

interior of the building to the exterior area surrounding the building. First-class<br />

maintenance services to the exterior area surrounding the building assure a firstclass<br />

image of the building. The services to be performed related to the exterior<br />

area surrounding the building are described below:<br />

1. Janitorial personnel shall keep the grounds surrounding the building clean and free<br />

of debris.<br />

2. Janitorial personnel shall mow the lawn and remove weeds as needed.<br />

3. Janitorial personnel shall salt and shovel the walkways to and around the building,<br />

as needed.<br />

4. Janitorial personnel shall provide and spread salt to melt snow and ice on the<br />

walkways to and around the building.<br />

5. Janitorial personnel shall place additional wood chips in the flower beds when<br />

needed.<br />

BUILDING SYSTEMS<br />

1. Janitorial personnel will endeavor to assure that the building is properly heated and<br />

air conditioned, and that the systems serving the building are operational.<br />

2. Janitorial personnel supervisor shall check the fire stations regularly and maintain a<br />

record.<br />

3. Janitorial personnel shall not engage in any repairs or maintenance to the electrical<br />

system, the plumbing system, the HVAC system or the boiler serving the building.<br />

In the event any repairs or maintenance on any of systems serving the building area<br />

is necessary or desired, the Janitorial personnel will inform the principal<br />

immediately.<br />
