INTERFACE CONVERTER (SPC-8K) To run the printer in serial mode, you should use the optional Serial/Parallel Converter (SPC-8K). The procedure to install the Converter is: 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. - Setthe DIP switches on the SPC-8K before attaching itto the printer. (See next page for detailed information.) Turn off the power switch and disconnect the power cord from the power source. Disconnect the interface cable if attached. Connect the Parallel connector to the printer.
