A storybook city Granada
Endülüs’ün en masalsı şehri kesinlikle Granada. Şehrin
en ünlü yapısı olan Elhamra Sarayı, UNESCO Dünya
Kültür Mirası Listesi’nde yer alıyor. İslam mimarisinin
ulaşabileceği en yüksek noktalardan biri olarak anılan Elhamra
Sarayı, birbiriyle bağlantılı sayısız oda ve salonlar,
bu mekânların arasındaki avlular, ferahlatıcı yeşil alanlar,
fıskiyeli havuzlar ve çeşmelerden oluşuyor. Kentin sembolü
nar meyvesini hediyelik eşya mağazalarından şehirdeki
tabelalara kadar her yerde görebilirsiniz.

he most fabled city in Andalucía is
definitely Granada. The most famous
building in the city is the Alhambra Palace which
is on the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage list.
The palace which is considered to be the apex of
Islamic architecture, has many interconnecting
rooms and halls, courtyards, refreshing green
spaces, pools and fountains. You can see the
pomegranate, the symbol of the city, everywhere
from souvenir shops to signposts.

Malaga gezisinde ilk uğramanız gereken adres, kale ve hisarlardan oluşan, yapımına
8. yüzyılda başlanan Alcazaba. Girişin yanında 12. yüzyıldan kalma Roma Tiyatrosu var.
Ayrıca Gibralfaro Kalesi’nin bulunduğu tepeden şehri kuşbakışı izlemek de olmazsa olmazlardan.
Keşif turunuza başladığınızda göze çarpan yapı Malaga Katedrali olacak. Birkaç sokak
ötesinde ise ünlü ressam Pablo Picasso’nun doğduğu ev yer alıyor. Müzeye dönüştürülen
bu evin yanı sıra, ressamın pek çok eserini görebileceğiniz Picasso Müzesi de var. Biraz da
alışveriş yapayım derseniz, şehrin merkezindeki Marques de Larious caddesi sizi bekliyor.

he first place you should visit in Malaga is Alcazaba, a cluster of citadels
and fortresses the building on which started around the 8th century.
Next to the entrance, there is a Roman Theater dating back from the 12th
century. Another activity that shouldn’t be missed is getting a bird’s eye view
of the city from the hill of Gibralfaro Castle. When you start to explore the
city, the Malaga Cathedral will catch your eye. A few streets away is the house
the famous artist Pablo Picasso was born. Other than this house turned into
a museum, there is also a Picasso Museum where you can see many works of
the artist. If you want to do some shopping, Marques de Larious street in the
city center is waiting for you.
