By March 2011, 204 medium
By March 2011, 2,049
workers had been assisted
to enter and 2,133
completed programmes
including learnerships and
apprenticeships.
The ETDP SETA met this
target by encouraging large
firms to participate in skills
development.
The ETDP SETA exceeded
its target.
This target was met by
providing support to small
levy-paying organisations.
Support was provided
through the provision of
skills programmes.
Although the ETDP SETA
reached its target of entries
into ABET Level 4, there
were no completions. This is
due to the nature and target
audience of the programme
as it takes longer to get
these learners through the
programme. Achievement
on completions will be
reported in the following
year.
The ETDP SETA was able
to exceed its target by
providing additional support
to its constituencies and
ensuring efficiency – costs
were lower than budget,
especially with regard to
skills programmes.
