song as Alice-Emma
ties knot with Ben

Love was in the air for Malcolm
Garnett, managing director
of Distinctive Ideas, as he
celebrated the wedding of his
daughter Alice-Emma to Ben
Starr.
The ceremony took place on
May 21 and was followed by a reception
at London’s Renaissance
Chancery Court Hotel.
As well as being a family event it
was also something of a red letter
day for the promotional products
industry.
Sharing the celebrations with
Malcolm were many of his friends
from the world of promotional gifts,
including Martin Varley, CEO of Altitude
Group plc; Martin’s wife Jo
Varley, who heads up ICE London,
and David Garnelas, of Event Merchandising.
Adding to the industry
theme was the maid of honour,
Sophia Garnett (pictured below),
account manager at Merchandise
Mania.
Just to get everyone in the mood
for a knees-up, Malcolm wowed
guests with his unique version of
Mustang Sally – much to the embarrassment
of his daughters!
The happy couple honeymooned
in Las Vegas, Hawaii and
San Francisco.
