through Boulder County Area Agency on Aging. This class<br />
is an excellent way to see just how Medicare works and<br />

Financial Assistance<br />
SENIOR ASSISTANCE PROGRAM through the City<br />
of <strong>Louisville</strong>.<br />
<strong>Louisville</strong> <strong>Senior</strong> Services, in partnership with the <strong>Senior</strong>s<br />
of <strong>Louisville</strong> Advisory Board and Boulder Area Agency<br />
on Aging, offers a program which provides financial<br />
assistance with:<br />
• Xcel Energy bills<br />
• Activity Scholarships<br />
• Emergencies as deemed appropriate by<br />
<strong>Senior</strong> Services staff.<br />
Eligibility criteria is:<br />
• <strong>Louisville</strong> resident (residing in home year round) for<br />
over one year<br />
• Minimum age of 60 at the time of application<br />
• Annual household income of less than $25,000 -<br />
individual and $30,000 – joint<br />

Colorado Property Tax/Rent/Heat Rebate<br />
(PTC Rebate)<br />
Available to full-year CO residents, age 65 or older, or a<br />
surviving spouse age 58 or older or disabled – regardless<br />
of age. The actual rebate total is based on applicants’<br />
income and expenses. CO residents who meet the<br />
requirement for the rebate should submit the rebate<br />
application, Form 104 PTC, <strong>available</strong> at the Colorado<br />
Department of Revenue Division of Taxation website.<br />
City of <strong>Louisville</strong> Water Rebates<br />
Available through Nov. 30. Income guidelines apply.<br />

Community Protection Division - The<br />
Community Protection Division investigates and pursues<br />
complaints on behalf of consumers, and also takes a<br />
lead role in prosecuting cases involving abuse or<br />
