Orvus WA Paste
Recommended for cleaning fine textiles
and rugs of all compositions. Removes
common dirt and stains but not stubborn
stains. A neutral synthetic anionic detergent
(sodium lauryl sulfate), used as a wetting, emulsifying, dispersing and
sudsing agent, readily soluble in hot or cold water; free rinsing in either.
Apply in a concentration of 1%, well dissolved, approximately one
tablespoon to one gallon of water. Wash 2-3 times, rinse 2-3 times.

3M Antitarnish Strips
3M Anti-Tarnish Strips are a
special absorbent paper that
protect silver, nickel, copper,
bronze, brass, tin and gold from
unsightly discolouration and tarnish,
especially during storage and shipping.
They prevent tarnish from forming
on metal by absorbing sulfur and other
common airborne pollutants. The chemically
treated paper removes the pollutants without causing any change
in the metal, emitting any fumes or leaving any residue. Use strips
in jewelry cases, storage bags or boxes, china cabinets, silverware
chests, musical instrument cases or trophy cases. One strip protects
one cubic foot of air space for up to six months. Store unused strips
in a sealed, airtight bag. 2” x 7” strips. 8 per package.

Metal Polishing Cloths

Metal polishing cloths are moist cotton, with just
the right amount of polish on them. Rub lightly
to remove tarnish on silver, gold, brass, copper,
pewter, and other metals, to bring forth a brilliant
mirror shine. These cloths are safe to use with no
chemical odour – instead, a pleasant vanilla scent.

A concentrated soap solution with deep cleansing
action that is soluble in water, white spirits and
trichloroethylene. Especially effective for removing
dirt from objects with uneven surfaces and fine
cracks such as interior stone walls and floors, arms
and armour and machinery as well as oil paintings,
textiles, carpets, ivory/shell and leather. It also has
possibilities for cleaning paper. Use diluted up to
5% maximum. Does not leave any oily coating.
When used to clean wood, the residue is completely
removable. Cleaned surfaces will hold adhesives.

in aqueous solution. pH approximately
4.0. Treatment selectively ruptures the
bond between base metal and corrosion
layer, reducing rust to a sludge which is
easily wiped or brushed away. Clean-water
rinse stops the process. Contrast this
safe, gentle handling of metals with the
more vigorous, often deleterious action
of mineral acids. Storage and treatment
vessels of mild steel, porcelain, rubber,
polythene or other plastics are suitable. Galvanized, tin, zinc or
lead-lined tanks are NOT suitable. 1 litre bottle.
