Silica Gel<br />
Silica Gel, the highest capacity absorbent available<br />
today, is a porous granular, chemically inert<br />
amorphous silica. When used as a desiccant,<br />
standard grades of silica can absorb 40% of their<br />
own weight of water. No visible change occurs<br />
when they become saturated,<br />
however, the gel can<br />
simply be dried and<br />
reactivated by heating<br />
for 3 hours at 300<br />
degrees Fahrenheit.<br />

Silica Gel Bags<br />
Protek Sorb containing 23.5g of non-indicating grade silica gel in a<br />
sealed bag of Tyvek material. Their small, flat shape makes them ideal<br />
for use in picture frames, slide cabinet drawers and other restricted<br />

Humidity Indicator Cards<br />
Humidity indicator cards offer a quick and inexpensive means of checking<br />
the relative humidity level of your storage or display area. As the humidity<br />
increases or decreases, the chemically impregnated spots change from a<br />
blue colour (dry) through a lavender (normal) or a pink (humid).<br />
Standard Card indicates the current humidity level. The card measures<br />
4-1/2” x 1-1/2” and comes with a pressure sensitive backing. Humidity<br />
level is indicated between the blue and pink spots. 5 per package.<br />
