<strong>Archival</strong> Boards<br />
Archivart ® Multi-Use Board<br />
A corrugated board, available in standard light Blue-Grey single wall<br />
construction. Developed to provide strong, rigid panels meeting archival<br />
quality requirements at a moderate price level. The paper used in the<br />
manufacture of these panels is of special acid-free quality of excellent<br />
strength characteristics which has been buffered against acid migration.<br />
Careful attention has been paid in all phases of manufacturing to<br />
maintain the quality standards which were established for these panels.<br />
pH Value: minimum 7.5 and 8.5. Single Wall Construction, 1/8” thickness<br />
(approximately). Colour: Blue/Grey.<br />

Archivart ® Library Board<br />
A permanent/durable stock in 20pt. caliper board<br />
made from long fibred selected chemical pulp for maximum<br />
folding endurance. The material is free from lignins, waxes, plasticizers<br />
and adhesives. Produced with a very smooth surface, this stock<br />
is acid-free with high alkaline reserve for protection against acid<br />
deterioration. pH Value: minimum of 8.5.<br />
APPLICATIONS<br />
For document folders, map folders and library cards; protective covers<br />
and wrapping material for individual volumes in libraries; stock for<br />
boxes; storage of maps and broadsides in roll form; lightweight matting<br />
and mounting material; heavy-duty lining in framing.<br />

Barrier Board<br />
Sheets of sturdy 60 point barrier board<br />
(pH 8.5) are available for a variety of uses. This<br />
barrier board is both acid and lignin free throughout and is buffered<br />
with approximately 3% Calcium Carbonate. Grey side has a smooth<br />
surface which is great for handling and the white interior eliminates<br />
any concern for colour transfer to objects placed against it. This board<br />
is ideal for making phase boxes, special size boxes, dividers or any<br />
use where an <strong>Archival</strong> quality board is required. Colour: Grey/White.<br />

Tycore Mounting Panels<br />
Archivart Tycore Mounting Panels provide<br />
the institutional conservator or<br />
conservation framer with a<br />
lightweight, balanced substrate of<br />
excellent rigidity.<br />
All papers and materials used in<br />
the manufacturing of these panels are<br />
acid-free, lignin-free and buffered against acid<br />
migration. The honeycomb core has a cell size of<br />
7/16” and a thickness of 1/2” and is made from selected<br />
chemical pulp. pH Value: surface - min 8.0, core - 7.0 to 8.5.<br />
APPLICATIONS<br />
A mounting substrate for display of large works of art on paper, textiles,<br />
posters or other objects requiring large surface area and a rigid mount.<br />
