Century ® Portfolio
Clamshell Style Box
The Clamshell Portfolio box is ideal for safe
storage or presentation of valued materials.
The one-piece clamshell
design permits easy
accessibility to the
materials stored
inside. The spine and
top of the box lie flat
when completely open,
providing a double-size
presentation area.
A finely woven cloth outercovering
provides extra
strength; prevents exposure
to light, and is insect, rodent and
moisture resistant. The triple strength
reinforced cloth top won’t come unhinged
with repeated use. Board frame is acid-free and
sulphur-free (less than .008%). pH 7.5 ± 0.5.
Adhesive used is acid-free, sulphur-free and buffered. Interior box is
lined with acid-free, lignin-free barrier paper that is composed of 98%
alpha cellulose fibres and buffered with a minimum of 3% calcium
carbonate. This serves to withstand acid migration from the exterior of
the box. Cloth covering is moisture and vermin resistant.

barrier board with metal edging, for strength and durability. Acid and
