Two of their tracks, “Der eine Schlag“ and “Fighter“, were included on the Thomas D album “Kennzeichen D – Remixed”. The album has been available throughout Germany since January 30 th . Co-workers on the School Bench Besides all the professional information provided by the SAE Institute in Vienna, the safety of our students must not come up short. For that reason, 10 SAE Vienna co-workers completed an industrial first aid course during the last half-year. Thanks to the extensive training and the dedicated participation of “Rescue-Anne“, there is now always a co-worker in-house who can not only bind up simple wounds, but is also qualified to perform re-animation measures. Safety first! Bachelor of Arts Degree In November 2008, Bachelor studies began again in all departments. There are a total of over 60 students working toward their BA (Hons), we wish all of them the necessary perseverance. We also wish to congratulate Thomas Konrad on the completion of his BA (Hons) in Recording Arts. In spite of his time consuming work as a musician (Guadalajara), producer and SAE co-worker (Supervisor and Instructor), he managed to complete his studies with very good results. Design for Fun and a good Cause Charitable causes are not ignored in the Webdesign course of study. In the course of their Photoshop class, WDD 908 Course Students designed poster suggestions for NGO’s (Non Government Organizations). The one or the other campaign would certainly prosper from such good designs. SAE Pixel Town (www.sae-town.de) also profited gladly from the industrious “in-house providers“ from Vienna. Just as popular are the Web programming, action script or logo design workshops – a point clearly proven by the many interested participants. zURICh Opening of the “Little House Cinema“ Since just recently, SAE Zurich not only has a large green screen room, but also its own house cinema – with surround sound, of course. Roger quested, Head of the famous studio monitor producer quested, donated the speaker system and personally calibrated the it – with absolutely convincing results. Designed to serve both as a classroom and a work place, the cinema, with its attached soundproof booth for professional SAE Zurich´s in-house cinema speaking recordings, leaves very little to be desired. Only the popcorn sales at the entrance had to be left out for organizational reasons... but in spite of that, we wish all the students and instructors lots of fun with it! Safety First! Bachelor of Arts Abschluss Im November 2008 konnten wieder Bachelor-Studiengänge in allen Fachbereichen gestartet werden.
