New Courses
The recent introduction of the Graphic Design Diploma has seen interest
rocket, as we are one of the few colleges in the UK to offer a fully practical
diploma in the subject within just 1 year.
Not only did we launch the Graphic Design course, we also announced the
introduction of the “world’s first iPhone Development course”! The news of
this course received global acclaim and has even been noted as one of the
most innovative courses in the media industry for the last decade. The first
intake for the course is yet to be announced but it won’t be far away!
Partnerships
At qantm we’re not just announcing courses, we’re also about to launch a
UK & international scholarship scheme in partnership with Warner Music
and GamesIndustry.biz. The scholarships will be available to both current
diploma students and the general public with varying entry criteria allowing
for the successful applicants to receive a full or partial scholarship to study
at qantm London.
Since the start of 2009 qantm has also been working closely with various
industry bodies. One of which was the “Games Up?” Campaign which
focused on the UK games industry and ways to ensure its stability over
coming years through tax breaks and youth education.
In addition to the Games Up? Campaign qantm has most recently become
a member of “TIGA”, the national trade association for game software
developers in the UK and Europe. This move will further ensure qantms ongoing
industry ties and ability to assist the industry and the UK education
sector in forward thinking and relevant training methods.

As of immediately, qantm Institute offers its successful graduates postgraduate
Bachelor and Masters Degrees. The Graduate Degree is earned
in 12 months. The Bachelor can be achieved in an additional 12 months.
After the Bachelor has been successfully completed, and dependent upon
the specialization of study, the student receives the title Bachelor of Arts
(Honours), Interactive Animation, and/or Bachelor of Science (Honours),
Games Programming, from Middlesex University in London. After that, a
Masters Degree can be pursued in conjunction with following a career.
Thus a course of study at qantm Institute guarantees not only a very
short and practically oriented education, but also offers the possibility of
achieving internationally recognized degrees.

Das Interesse an dem vor Kurzem eingeführten Graphic Design Diploma ist
enorm, da wir eine der wenigen Schulen in Großbritannien sind, die einen
kompletten Abschluss innerhalb 1 Jahres in diesem Bereich anbieten.
Neben dem Graphic Design Studiengang startet qantm London auch den
weltweit ersten iPhone Software-Entwicklerkurs! Seitens der Presse erntete
das Kurskonzept großen Beifall und wurde der Kurs wurde sogar als einer
der innovativsten in der Medienindustrie innerhalb der letzten 10 Jahre bezeichnet.
Der Starttermin wird noch bekannt gegeben, aber lange wird es
nicht mehr dauern.

Bei qantm geben wir nicht nur neue Kurse bekannt. Wir stehen auch kurz
davor in Kooperation mit Warner Music und GamesIndustry.biz ein britisches
und internationales Stipendien Programm auf den Weg zu bringen.
Derzeitige Diploma Studenten sowie alle anderen Interessierten können
sich bei Erfüllung der entsprechenden Aufnahmebedingungen bewerben
und die erfolgreichen Bewerber werden ein Voll- oder ein Teil-Stipendium
für ein Studium bei qantm London erhalten.
Seit Anfang 2009 arbeitet qantm eng mit diversen Industriegremien zusammen.

Entwickler in Großbritannien und Europa“ ist. Mit diesem Schritt werden unsere
Industriekontakte noch enger und wir können unser Bildungsangebot
noch besser an den Bedürfnissen der Industrie ausrichten.
Ab sofort bietet qantm Institute seinen Studenten nach erfolgreich
bestandener Diploma Stufe die begehrten Bachelor und Master Abschlüsse
an. Das Diploma wird in 12 Monaten absolviert, der Bachelor Abschluss
kann schon nach weiteren 12 Monaten erreicht werden. Bei Bestehen des
Bachelor-Levels erhält der Student abhängig von seiner Spezialisierung
den Titel Bachelor of Arts (Honours), Interactive Animation bzw. Bachelor
of Science (Honours), Games Programming von der Middlesex University
in London verliehen. Im Anschluss kann berufsbegleitend der Mastertitel
erworben werden. Ein Studium bei qantm Institute garantiert somit nicht
nur eine äußerst kurze und praxisorientierte Ausbildung, sondern bietet
auch die Möglichkeit, international anerkannte Abschlüsse zu erwerben.
