After a short change of setting, the band “Powertoy“, produced in the
Studios 301 by Ulli Pallemanns, began to heat up the party. A subsequent
guitar solo contest between representatives of several SAE Locations added
to the general entertainment before “T.M. Stevens and Friends“ really got
the party guests rockin’. Tom Misner was our special guest musician again.
Accompanied by bass legend T.M. Stevens, Tom enthralled the onlookers
with his depth of feeling and skill as he made his guitar strings sing for him.
The rest of the night belonged to the DJ’s, who helped the guests celebrate
until the wee hours of the morning with their rhythmic sets.
The second day of the trade fair began a bit more relaxed because of the
party. But by about 11 o’clock, it was in full swing with seminars, trade
presentations and events at the exhibition stands. The more than successful
CONVENTION came to a close at about 16:00 hours leaving visitors in a very
good mood, very satisfied exhibitors and happy co-workers.
In 2009, the SAE ALUMNI CONVENTION will again be held in mid October.
From the 15 th to the 16 th of October, the SAE Berlin Campus will once again
be the focal point of the audio-visual world. Spread over an even larger area,
with more exhibition stands, visitors can anticipate even more information,
attractions and innovations - in short - more CONVENTION.

normal schedule of activities, one is in a permanent rush for the entire
duration of the event. At the Alumni Convention in Berlin, the clock ticks
in a decidedly different fashion - although the atmosphere is definitely
lively. The SAE Alumni Convention has already become an established
institution, which is enjoying ever-greater attention and respect from the
industry and trade world. I, for one, intend to be there again next year...“

„The exhibition stands and demo suites of all exhibitors were well visited.
This resulted in many positive responses by the exhibitors regarding the
flow of events, organization, number of visitors and the quality of talks
and discussions.“
Nach einer kurzen Umbaupause spielte die Band „Powertoy”, die von Ulli
Pallemanns in den Studios 301 produziert wird. Ein anschließender Gitarren
Solo Contest zwischen Vertretern einiger SAE Standorte trug zur allgemeinen
Unterhaltung bei, bevor dann „T.M. Stevens and Friends” den Partygästen
so richtig einheizten. Special Guest war wieder einmal Firmengründer Tom
Misner, der an der Seite von Basslegende T.M. Stevens beherzt in die Saiten
griff und mit seinem Gitarrenspiel die Zuschauer begeisterte. Der Rest der
Nacht gehörte dann wieder den DJ‘s, die mit heißen Beats die Gäste bis in
den frühen Morgen feiern ließen.
Der zweite Messetag startete aufgrund der Party etwas gemütlicher,
kam aber gegen 11 Uhr mit den Seminaren und Fachvorträgen sowie
den Veranstaltungen an den Aussteller-Ständen richtig in Schwung. Eine
mehr als erfolgreiche CONVENTION endete um 16 Uhr und hinterließ ausschließlich
gut gelaunte Besucher, sehr zufriedene Aussteller und glückliche
Mitarbeiter.
Auch 2009 findet die SAE ALUMNI CONVENTION wieder Mitte Oktober statt.
Vom 15. bis 16.Oktober steht dann der Campus der SAE Berlin erneut im
Mittelpunkt der audiovisuellen Welt. Auf noch mehr Fläche mit noch mehr
Ständen erwartet dann den Besucher noch mehr Information, Attraktion
und Innovation – vor allem aber noch mehr CONVENTION.
