6. Refund of Entrance Fee
6.1 Only 50% of the entrance fee is refundable in the event that the
child’s period of stay in school is less than one year.
6.2 The child’s notice of withdrawal is given to the school as
stipulated in Bye-Law 7.1.
6.3 A ‘period of stay’ is taken as the first day of the school term
(regardless of whether the child is present or not) to the last day
in which the child is scheduled to attend class.
There will be no refund if the child has been with the school for more
than one year.
7. Refund of Depreciated Deposit
7.1 The Depreciated Tuition Fee Deposit is only refundable where
the following notice of withdrawal of a child or long-term
absence has been compiled with:
Where a child will be leaving school, prior notice, in writing
giving the date of leaving must be given to the Principal before
the half-term vacation of the preceding term i.e.
(a)
(b)
(c)
Child to be absent all or part of Term 1 (August to
December), notice before half-term vacation (in May) of
previous Term III.
Child to be absent all or part of Term II (January to
April), notice before the half-term vacation (in October) of
previous Term 1.
Child to be absent all or part of Term III (April to July),
notice before the half-term vacation (in February) of
previous Term II.
7.2 No depreciated deposit is refundable if a notice of withdrawal
of child or long-term absence is shorter than that stipulated in
Bye-law 7.1.
