Fund – 1987 ($1,431)
perpetuates the memory of
this Arcanum High School
graduate by establishing a
vehicle to provide college
tuition assistance to a graduating
senior of the school.
Eisert Family Fund – 2000
($20,676) will perpetuate
the donors’ devotion to
their church by providing
unrestricted funds for the
Catholic Campus Ministry
Program at Wright State
University and St. Peter
Catholic Church.

($115,552) serves to
remember this friend and
helpmate of Wright State
University students with
disabilities by providing
scholarships and related
assistance.

Foundation of Dayton Fund
– 1995 ($3,237,713) provides
support for technical educational
programs. These
encourage and enhance
opportunities for students in
grades one through graduate
school to enter and progress
in careers in science, engineering
and other technical
fields.
Environmental Education
Endowment Fund – 1997
($17,447) preserves the
vision of E.V. Jotter. He was
an educator and conservationist
who worked as a
volunteer for 35 years in
the Dayton Public Schools
and stimulated elementary
school teachers to instruct
students about conservation
and the environment.
Aaron and Ann Vennette
Everhard Memorial
Scholarship Fund – 2002
($79,845) was established
by Eleanora S. Everhard
in memory of her parents.
The fund financially assists
students enrolled in the
University of Dayton’s
Premedical Program.
Ewers Family Fund – 1997
($220) was established by
John T. and Paula S. Ewers,
Dayton residents since 1983.
They have found The Dayton
Foundation to be an excellent
means of organizing and
disbursing their charitable
giving.
Executive Women International
Scholarship Fund
– 1997 ($28,593) assists
women in their pursuit of
an education by providing
funding for educational needs
and other expenses not
normally covered by other
grants and scholarships.
Thelma G. (Kay) and
Richard Fair Fund – 2001
($1,459,579) will provide
unrestricted operating revenue
for Hospice of Dayton,
Inc., Red Cross Dayton Area
Chapter and St. Vincent
Hotel, as designated by
the donors.
Fairborn Rotary Community
Foundation – 2000
($59,043) will distribute
income, at the direction of
the Fairborn Rotary Club,
to support charitable and
educational programs.
Fairborn Senior Center
Fund – 1998 ($1,531)
distributes unrestricted
funds for programs of the
Senior Citizens Association
of Metropolitan Fairborn.
Fairview United Methodist
Health and Welfare
Ministries Fund – 1990
($20,141) enhances Fairview
United Methodist Churchsponsored
programs aimed
at supporting and improving
the general health and welfare
of citizens in the Greater
Dayton area. Creators of
the fund are H. Stanley and
Shelomith D. Eichenauer.

($296,503) provides enhanced
living opportunities
for residents of this nonprofit
senior citizen facility located
in Beavercreek. “A charitable
gift is always a true expression
of love.”
Gretchen W. “Jinx” Fensel
Fund – 1993 ($23,359)
assures unrestricted support
for the community’s arts
and civic organizations. Jinx
Fensel, a wonderful woman
who was full of life and vigor,
previously had a Dayton
Foundation Charitable
Checking Account, which
she used to support her
favorite Dayton-area arts
and civic organizations.
J. Howard and Josephine
S. Fettro Fund – 1993
($145,323) enhances
operating revenue to the
First United Methodist
Church of Hillsboro, Ohio.
This fund was established
using a gift of appreciated
securities.
Father Figaro Scholarship
Fund – 1987 ($71,680)
honors Father Egbert J.
Figaro and defrays tuition
costs for Montgomery
County minority students
who choose to attend
Chaminade-Julienne High
School.

Memorial Fund – 1998
($16,463) was established by
Catherine E. Fink, widow
of Henry T. Fink, a former
civic leader of Miamisburg
and owner of Fink-Jeske
Chevrolet, to support the
activities of charitable
organizations.
First Presbyterian Church
of West Carrollton Fund –
1999 ($18,214) will provide
aid for the general maintenance
of this 1962 church.
The First Presbyterian
Church congregation has
been active for over 150
years in West Carrollton.
