John & Paula Ewers
“Everyone is entitled to have a
decent place to live. Around the
world, across the United States
and right here in the Miami Valley,
however, you’ll find a startling
number of people who don’t have
a place to call home.
“To live lavishly goes against
our beliefs. Instead, we have chosen
to make a difference for others by
volunteering our time, skills and
financial resources.
“Habitat for Humanity is fulfilling
our dream of helping individuals
and families to improve their lives
and to reach their full potential.”
The Ewers established an endowment, the Ewers
Family Fund, in 1997, and a Charitable Checking
Account in 1990 to fulfill their charitable commitment
to community causes of interest to them. Habitat for
Humanity, one of several organizations supported by
the Ewerses’ funds, provides affordable homes for
low-income families.
