more advanced communicative skills in the three modes of communication. The program will
integrate the five C’s of the national standards and will be based on best instructional practices and
effective assessment tools. At the end of the program, students will learn about culturally appropriate
ways of communicating with others in a variety of situations. They will also be able to explain and
discuss, orally and in writing, Persian wedding customs and traditions. Furthermore, students will be
able to comprehend, respond to, and give their opinion about a variety of content-related print and
non-print resources.
