A <str<strong>on</strong>g>system</str<strong>on</strong>g> with infinite possibilities!<br />
<str<strong>on</strong>g>The</str<strong>on</strong>g> stati<strong>on</strong> is compri<str<strong>on</strong>g>sed</str<strong>on</strong>g> of all <strong>the</strong> following functi<strong>on</strong>al blocks:<br />
Feeding of c<strong>on</strong>tainers<br />
<str<strong>on</strong>g>The</str<strong>on</strong>g> c<strong>on</strong>tainers are stored in a gravity feeder with a<br />
capacity for 36 units distributed in four columns. Two<br />
barrier type photocells detect <strong>the</strong> minimum level and<br />
absence of c<strong>on</strong>tainers in <strong>the</strong> feeder. A double acting<br />
cylinder carries out <strong>the</strong> extracti<strong>on</strong> functi<strong>on</strong> of <strong>the</strong> feeder<br />
c<strong>on</strong>tainer.<br />
Displacement of <strong>the</strong> c<strong>on</strong>tainers<br />
Various pneumatic actuators transfer <strong>the</strong> c<strong>on</strong>tainers to<br />
<strong>the</strong> c<strong>on</strong>veyer belt: <strong>on</strong>e actuator allows horiz<strong>on</strong>tal<br />
movement; ano<strong>the</strong>r vertical movement and a third<br />
rotates 90º. <str<strong>on</strong>g>The</str<strong>on</strong>g> c<strong>on</strong>tainer is held using a platform with<br />
two telescopic vacuum pads.<br />
In <strong>the</strong> event that <strong>the</strong> bar code reading (BCR) indicates<br />
that <strong>the</strong> c<strong>on</strong>tainer is incorrect, it will be ejected to a<br />
c<strong>on</strong>tainer. If correct, it will be moved to <strong>the</strong> belt which<br />
will take it to <strong>the</strong> next stati<strong>on</strong>.<br />
C<strong>on</strong>veyer belt.<br />
Each stati<strong>on</strong> <str<strong>on</strong>g>has</str<strong>on</strong>g> a transfer secti<strong>on</strong> as a part of <strong>the</strong><br />
AMHS (Automated Material Handling System),<br />
actuated by a c<strong>on</strong>tinuous current motor.<br />
Each secti<strong>on</strong> includes a capacitive detector that<br />
indicates <strong>the</strong> presence of a c<strong>on</strong>tainer at <strong>the</strong> end of <strong>the</strong><br />
belt and detects queues. <str<strong>on</strong>g>The</str<strong>on</strong>g>re is also a cylinder which<br />
detains <strong>the</strong> c<strong>on</strong>tainers if <strong>the</strong> stati<strong>on</strong> is occupied.<br />
TROUB-<str<strong>on</strong>g>200</str<strong>on</strong>g><br />
This stati<strong>on</strong> <str<strong>on</strong>g>has</str<strong>on</strong>g> a <str<strong>on</strong>g>system</str<strong>on</strong>g> for <strong>the</strong> diagnosis and repair<br />
of breakdowns, TROUB-<str<strong>on</strong>g>200</str<strong>on</strong>g>, which generates up to 16<br />
different malfuncti<strong>on</strong>s which <strong>the</strong> student <str<strong>on</strong>g>has</str<strong>on</strong>g> to detect.<br />
