Data Acquisition Unit
The DA100 data acquisition unit provides a data acquisition en vi ron ment that is ex pand able
and has a high level of design freedom, using a PC as the user interface.
• High level of design freedom
The DA100 is available as a small standalone model capable of data ac qui si tion on as
many as 40 channels, and an expandable model that can be ex pand ed up to 300 chan nels
di rect ly by the user.
• Networking capability
The DA100 can be equipped with an Ethernet (10BASE-T) port so you can build a sim ple
network or connect to an on-premises LAN for re mote data acquisition and cen tral ized
data management.
• PC-friendly
The included data logging software makes it easy to create a PC-based data acquisition
en vi ron ment.
• High-speed, high-precision measurements
The DA100 is capable of high-speed, high-precision measurements with a scanning speed
of 300 channels per 500 ms.
•Wide variety of I/O modules
A wide variety of input modules are available, including voltage, tem per a ture
(thermocouple, RTD), contact, distortion, pulse, power monitor, and mA (DC current).
The large array of modules also includes a com mu ni ca tion module and alarm output
module.
• An economically sensible choice
Remote measurement at distances up to 500 meters reduces wiring re quire ments, and the
unit’s small size helps you save space.

The DC100 is a data collector that lets you monitor various I/O signals using many
different dis play functions on a large monitor, while saving the data to internal mem o ry.
With its large mem o ry capacity, a single DC100 unit can meet a variety of user needs, such
as mo bil i ty in terms of ease of han dling in the fi eld and portability; en vi ron men tal
durability with a PC-free, chart-free design; and eco nom ics in terms of effective use of
mea sure ment data and su pe ri or cost performance.
• Support for effi cient data processing
With its large memory capacity (specify 1 MB, 2 MB, or 4 MB of internal memory when
plac ing your order), the DC100 enables effi cient data ac qui si tion. You can even trans fer
data to a PC while simultaneously back ing up to internal memory. The DC100 comes
stan dard with a 3.5-inch fl op py drive, and an optional SCSI interface is available.
• Superior mobility
With a lightweight (approximately 5 kg)*, compact (approximately 20 cm depth) de sign,
the DC100 is ideal for vehicle installations or use as a por ta ble data col lec tor.
