The VJET Ethernet/RS-485 converter is a compact, plug-in<br />
type communication converter that uses the Modbus/TCP<br />
pro to col for connecting to host devices with Ethernet<br />
capability, and uses the Modbus/RTU protocol for<br />
connecting to devices with RS-485 communication<br />
function.<br />
Support for a Variety of Applications<br />

• Enables monitoring of multiple widely separated sensor<br />
sig nals from a single location via Ethernet. Up to 31<br />
sourc es can be monitored per VJET unit.<br />
• Monitoring systems can be set up quickly using<br />
DAQWORX* software (recommended).<br />

• Installs in your existing LAN with a minimum of<br />
additional wiring.<br />
• 29.5 mm wide (installed) space-saving design. Mounts<br />

Modbus/TCP Protocol<br />
This is an open protocol compatible with TCP/IP. It is one of the protocols that can<br />
