It was founded in 1933. BSEU today is one of the largest universities in Belarus training specialists for
all branches of economics and all types of the organizations. BSEU prepares experts in economics and
management, finance and banking, accounting and statistics, commercial activity, the international
economic relations, jurisprudence, communicative technologies in business, marketing, logistics,
economic law, economics and administration in tourism, work economics, economics of
environmental management, advertizing and pricing. The university consist of 13 faculties, 61 chairs,
6 research centers, library, scientific and computer laboratories, language laboratories, the campus with
8 student's hostels, sports and trade complexes, sanatorium dispensary and health-improvement base in
picturesque pine forest on the bank of a lake.
