Belarusian State University of Culture and Arts was founded in1975. It is the leading university of the
national education system in the field of culture and education. The university has developed an
optimal structure of specialties and areas that reflects the multiple needs of personnel in the field of
culture and arts. The University consists of 6 departments and 28 faculties, has its branch in Mozur.
These faculties and staff train specialists in various genres of folk arts. Since 1975 the University has
trained about 25,000 highly qualified specialists. Belarusian State University of Culture and Arts
maintains scientific and creative contacts with universities of Russia, Azerbaijan, Ukraine, Lithuania,
Poland, Korea, China.
