The state educational establishment «Institute for Command Engineers» of the Ministry for<br />
Emergency Situations of the Republic of Belarus (ICE) was founded in 1992 and until now it is a<br />
leading higher school in the field of fire safety and protection against emergencies in the Republic of<br />
Belarus. The primary function of the institute is to train a wide range of specialists and prepare them<br />
for the Ministry of Emergency Situations and other state agencies of the Republic of Belarus as well<br />
as for international emergency divisions. Most of academic and research activities are carried out by<br />
4 departments of the institute and 9 faculties, Graduate Studies Department, as well as at Graduate<br />
Military Studies Department. Hands on education is exercised at the training facility of the fire<br />
prevention and rescue division, which allocates all necessary basic, special and ancillary equipment.<br />

CAMPUS LIFE: the institute offers training in numerous sports groups in a wide range of different<br />
sports. Students have the opportunity to participate in amateur plays, attend cultural events, take<br />
sightseeing tours around different historical sites of the Republic of Belarus.<br />
