As I was thinking of explaining both these subjects in one
story, I came across “Ananke,” the goddess of necessity
and obligation. I was also curious about how Olympic
12 ended. Here, there’s a story that’s been cut with a
knife. A story about eradication. And I was curious about
this. When all of these came together, I decided to tell
the story of how an imperfect form in the universe was
eradicated and how a better-developed consciousness level
emerged.
Bu iki konuyu birden tek bir hikâyede anlatmayı
düşünürken “Ananke’ye” gereklilik ve zorunluluk

Antik Yunan’da günlük yaşama dair çok sayıda kitap

universe,” which you define as the emergence

This actually turned out to be my set up. Ananke is a
force that protects the order in the universe. The system
has a margin of error, and adjustments need to be
made. Actually, the answer to this question is hidden
in the section with Socrates. I examined Socrates’ life
and philosophy in various sources. Socrates says (and
this is truly an excerpt from his book) that there is a
creative force. This force is at the helm for some time and
manages things. Then, it leaves people as they are. At
that point, everyone and everything has free will. But if
the order is disrupted, Socrates explains, the force comes
back to interfere and changes the course. This is a model
that makes sense to me. In any case, there will be some
interference in the world. That’s why I set up a fiction
like this.
How long did it take you to write this novel
I read many books about daily life in Ancient Greece and
did research. I did research for about a year and a half.
And I wrote my book in six months.
You have two works. Is there any connection between
these two works
Yes. In both novels, there is a set up that emphasizes
mankind’s flaws and suggests that we all undergo change.
What do you want to make the reader think in your
books
Personally, this is what I’m trying to explain: sometimes,
things that seem bad to us can have meaning later on.
Most of the time, we miss the big plan. We overlook the
fact that this big plan is a force that knows what’s better
for us and that, most of the time, we need to adapt to the
flow of life.
In my works, I’m trying to emphasize that we need to
value life. It’s important to accept something as a whole,
not as good or bad.
