symbolizes <strong>an</strong> invocation of the Spirit of Ma’iiñg<strong>an</strong> (Wolf). It's <strong>an</strong> appeal for guid<strong>an</strong>ce <strong>an</strong>d skills <strong>an</strong>d strength to make the right<br />
decisions. <strong>The</strong> buckle depicts the story of Ma’iiñg<strong>an</strong>, <strong>an</strong> Anishinaabe hunter. He belongs to the wolf doodem, <strong>an</strong>d the jeweler<br />
depicted him with outstretched arms, praying to his bawaag<strong>an</strong> or personal "guardi<strong>an</strong> spirit" asking him for strength <strong>an</strong>d<br />
