of the Monkey Mia facility.
The Chief Executive Officer advised the Committee that Council had resolved at
its Ordinary meeting in July 2006 to impose the fee of $1.00 per passenger head
plus GST for the newly licensed “E” Class operator using the Monkey Mia jetty.
Council similarly resolved at its March 2007 Ordinary meeting to impose the same
fee to the “T” Class licensed operator using the Monkey Mia jetty. Any change to
this fee structure would require a rescission motion from Council.

MF 5.2 Denham Marine Facilities Management Committee Member Vacancy MA 100.01
Recommendation
That the Denham Marine Facilities Management Committee recommends to
Council that Council re-advertise to fill the remaining vacancy on the
Denham Marine Facilities Management Committee by a Community
member.
Some discussion took place in regard to the Department for Planning and
Infrastructure Marine Gascoyne Regional Manager (Mr Aidan Tansey) being
invited to join the Committee. Department for Planning and Infrastructure Marine
has expressed an interest in being represented on the Committee. It was agreed
in discussion that the community member vacancy be advertised first in order to
determine any interest from the community on being a member of the Committee.
Following this process Council can then assess the matter of having the
Department for Planning and Infrastructure Marine Regional Manager represented
on the Committee.

MF 5.3 Code of Conduct MA 100
Recommendation
That the Denham Marine Facilities Management Committee recommends to
Council that Council amend the Code of Conduct for the Maritime Facility at
Denham to include the following as Code of Conduct number 14 and
vessels that are broken down and do not pay an annual jetty fee be levied a
fee for the duration of the breakdown.
