a very joyous holiday season! We will resume rehearsals on
Wednesday 14th January, 2004 in the Band Room at ISS, at 7pm.
We are planning to branch out into BARBERSHOP QUARTET REPERTOIRE,
so please come along and join us next year if you think this might be something
for you!

WHO ARE WE?
We are a voluntary organization, made up of people like you, dedicated to helping English-speaking residents in
the Stavanger area. We publish an extensive INFORMATION GUIDE (120 NOK),
as well as answer specific questions via email (spin@shell.com).
WHAT CAN WE TEACH YOU?
SPIN organizes WORKSHOPS several times a year. Expert guest speakers, from Norway and abroad,
provide much needed information and insight on various expatriate issues.
The setting is the beautiful Hummeren Hotel in Tananger.
Topics have included: Cross Cultural Communication, The Accompanying Spouse, Raising Multilingual
Children, Third Culture Kids, Financing for Dummies.
We are always looking for workshop ideas from YOU!
DON’T SIT HOME ALONE – JOIN US FOR OUR MONTHLY SOCIALS!
With up to 60 people in attendance, you are sure to meet many new-found friends and acquaintances.
Expat women have their clubs, but this offers a rare opportunity for the men to meet others as well!
Attendees come from all over the world and include many local Norwegians.
Venues have included drinks and quiz nights, bowling, darts, billiards, potlucks, and BBQ’s.
