These Series-3 IMPACr" TTL programmable<br />

read-only memories (PROMs) feature high-speed<br />

access times and dependable titanium-tungsten<br />

fuse link program elements. They are organized<br />

as 32 words by 8 bits each, providing a total of<br />

256 bits. T.he TBP38S03' has three-state<br />

outputs. The TBP38SA03' is the open-collector<br />

version and allows the device to be connected<br />

directly to data buses utilizing passive pull-up<br />

resistors. The low-power TBP38L03' is available<br />

for applications that require power conservation<br />

while maintaining bipolar speeds.<br />

These PROMs are offered with a choice of address access times (dash numbers). These dash numbers<br />

_ are found in the switching characteristics table, and are included in the part numbers.<br />

Data is programmed at any bit location with the standard Series 3 programming algorithm. The program<br />

elements store a low logic level before any programming, and are permanently set to a high logic level<br />

after programming. After execution of the programming procedure, the output for that bit location cannot<br />

be reversed. The Series 3 programming procedure should be referred to for further details. Additional circuitry<br />

has been designed into these devices to improve testability and ensure high programmability.<br />

An MJ or MFK suffix designates full-temperature circuits that are characterized for operation over the full<br />
