7.2 Multi-Line TextflowsIn addition to placing single lines of text on the page, PDFlib supports a feature calledTextflow which can be used to place arbitrarily long text portions. The text may extendacross any number of lines, columns, or pages, and its appearance can be controlledwith a variety of options. Character properties such as font, size, and color can be appliedto any part of the text. Textflow properties such as justified or ragged text, paragraphindentation and tab stops can be specified; line breaking opportunities designatedby soft hyphens in the text will be taken into account. Figure 7.10 and Figure 7.11demonstrate how various parts of an invoice can be placed on the page using the Textflowfeature.
