A more elegant solution defines a macro called list. For convenienceit defines a macro indent which is used as a constant. The macro definitions areas follows:1. The options hortabsize, hortabmethod, and ruler specify a tab stop which correspondsto leftindent. It makes the text after the number to be indented with theamount specified in leftindent. Figure 7.17 shows the parindent and leftindent options atwork.1.
